Feeler: CPO+mait E90 335i
this is just a feeler to get an idea of what my car is worth. its an 09/06 Production E90 335. Alpine White/Black Leather/Aluminum Prem, Cold, and Sport PDC Sat radio Step Trans. power rear/man side shade comfort access idrive w nav have all books, records as long as ive owned the car [since 7/08 and 20k] and both master keys its got 48k on it and is CPO til 100k r 09/12. it also has the extended maitenence plan until 100k or 09/12 as well. there is slight wear on the driver side seat bolster some small chips in the front bumper and quarter sized scuff in the rear bumper as far as mods go its got 19" VMR V710s in custom textured matte black with a white time attack with Falken FK452s. The rear will need replacing in like 5k but the fronts are good for another 15k at least. the front pass side wheel does have a slight bend in it but i havent had it fixed because there is only one wheel repair shop here in jax and when i used him on an old set of wheels he made them worse, otherwise they would have been fixed asap. the left rear and a quarter sized bit of curb rash from when i let my little sister drive the car [] it also has matte black front grilles, custom red powder coated air scoops, the matte black 335i badge and i changed out all the chrome window trim for 325/328 spec matte black trim. i also have a spare rear V710 that the dealer scuffed and i demanded they replace it. i will include that to the buyer as well. it does not have a tire on it but if u ever needed a spare [like to run on while having another rear replaced/fixed] you would have it. i think thats it. let me know if you have any questions. im planning on selling come December so if you are planning to be in the market keep me in mind. but like i said, for now im just trying to get an idea of what its worth.

meh... the scuffs and chips actually don't look too bad. the front ones could easily be done cheap or just drill a license plate holder into it and they'll go away.
The rear might be a bit more intense thought, possibly in need of a new bumper if the damage is extensive enough. Maybe you should have it go checked out when you have time, that way a potential buyer would know what exactly they are getting into (if you choose to go through with the sale). BTW what are you hoping to get for it? |

TBH i dont really know what I want for it. I would rather someone on here buy it so I know it's going to someone who will enjoy it. Ultimately I'll probably get a number from my dealer and give people on here a week or two at a firm price [trade in offer+ taxes i would incur] and if someone wants it then great and if not i'll just trade it in.

If you have it fixed or quote what it would cost you to fix, I don't see any reason you couldn't get $27ish-maybe $28k on here or autotrader.com maybe a little more if you factor in CPO and Maint plan but IDK what that is worth really. |

noticed today how worn the rear tires actually are. they are in DIRE need of replacement.
Current mileage as of today is 465xx. the car is no longer being driven so the mileage shouldnt go over 47k by the time im ready to sell

the only mods still on the car are the wheels and tires, the black 335i badge, the stainless steel pedals, and the black window trim.
$28k anyone? |

Seems like you're wishing on a shooting star if you think you'll get $28k with that paint and bumper damage still there. I realize you're being honest and thats much appreciated however, think about this: Take what this car is worth Private Party in GOOD condition (not excellent). Then price out what it would cost to have that stuff on the front touched up and the rear piece replaced and painted and then that would be a good price point to try and sell at. It's a desirable car; CPO/maint is a very big plus for 99% of buyers. It just seems like its MUCH harder to sell a car with a little damage on it because people want to see it in mint cond.
If you fix it 1st THEN try to sell it, I'm sure you'd have no problems locking up a sale soon there after. EDIT: I realize this is the 3rd time I've tried to express this to you... sorry I'll stop now, obviously you feel differently. |
