How to tell if you have a boost/IC leak?
Hey guys,
Is datalogging the only true way to tell if you have a boost leak? I went from SSTT to Procede v3 Rev 2 and there is a new sound at initial throttle that appears to be boost but it was not there before with the SSTT. The sound isn't super obvious as boost but it does build with throttle before dying off even while maintaining moderate throttle. Does anyone else have this? Is it normal? I haven't had a chance to datalog yet since I just put in the V3 in the last couple of weeks. Car seems to run fine so I wasn't in a rush. Also, I installed the new AMS FMIC and got one of the units before they started welding the new longer tube on. Can it really leak if its barely hanging on to the coupler or do they just usually blow off? |
