BMW 800# order tracking reliability

My car went into status 150 (production) on Tuesday 10/6. This morning the 800# for order checking updated to "in production, with a completion date of 10/15....

my question is, is that accurate?...does it really take 9 days to finish production?

I was hoping it would be on its way to the port by the 15th, so I could have a chance to catch the ship leaving on either the 22nd, or 24th of this month.

Anyone with this experience, please assist!!

Yes, it's accurate. Don't pull out your hair yet. You have many frustrating days ahead, as it sits waiting to go to port, then sits at the port, not getting on boats you think it will get on. When it's all over, you'll forget it and the anticipation will be worth it.

It is accurate, but the BMW lady takes a little while to update their systems. Just wait til it gets on a boat... it's more frustrating then! but so well worth it! congrats and happy tracking!!
