Ignition coil
Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone else has had there ignition coils replaced? Mine went in for a replacment on cylinder 1 today and six months ago a new coil was replaced on cylinder 2. Is this a common problem with BMWs I know it was common on the VAG group of cars a few years ago. As it's quite expensive to replace - was initially quoted £177 for 1 coil but then got some good will after complaining! First one was done under warranty - which unfortunately ran out a couple of months ago. Thanks |

I had one go on my 335i six months ago, my wifes 118i needed one three weeks ago, and then another one today. Managed to pick up a scratch while it was at the dealers too!
