Frequent Check Engine Lights

I get the "transmission/engine that has a diagonal line and half is yellow" (sorry, best way I know to describe it) about once per 4-6 days. I had it come on when I had no tune on the car at all so I don't think that is the problem. I actually had the HPFP replaced about 2000 miles ago so surely that isn't it. The car drives fine although it goes into limp mode when the light comes on, but it's annoying. Anyone else have this happen?

could be lot's of things.. get a BT scan and take car in for warranty work.. but HPFP's have been known to fail time and time again so you can't rule that out.. that's why BMW extended the warranty on that part

Not only have I had it happen, but my car is in the shop right now because of it. My issue is a Vanos error.
