Include a post here of your cracked wheel experiences using a common template. This is to help tabulate any statistics. It would be helpful if there were no commentary postings to filter through.

This is just for cracked wheels.

Please include just what is below the dashes.

Car Model would be like 335i.
Car Style would be like E90, E91, E92, E93.
Style would be like 230 or 225. If non OEM, please specify.
Diameter is of the wheel in inches.
Width is the width of the wheel in inches, i.e., 8.0, 8.5, 9.0, 9.5
Type would be RFT or non-RFT.
The number is the number of wheels repaired or replaced. Position is where on the car, i.e., LF, LR, RF, RR.
Cost outlay is the financial costs of repair or replacement. This is for statistical average.
Region is your location, i.e., Surrey. If you happen to be outside the UK, please specify country and state if applicable.

a few notes: i replaced all rft's with falkens, so the real outlay was more. also, bmw gave me a new rim at 50% of cost...so i got something back. now why would they do that? goodwill they said. fair enough.

The car itself had 2 wheels replaced in the first year of the original ownership so I have included those. One wheel cracked on me recently but was replaced under goodwill.

The tyres were only recently changed to Falkens so the crack may have been caused while the car was still on RFTs.
