Yeah, it picks up the radars/ lasers pretty well. I've avoided plenty of speed traps on the highway.

Installation is pretty easy, I could help you install it if you'd like. Takes maybe about 30 minutes? Took me way longer when I did it because I had to figure out where I wanted to conceal the wires and also making sure everything was done correctly. Twitchy, I need to know asap because a guy from craigslist wanted to pick these up tomorrow. But if you're going to buy it, I can tell him otherwise.

No problem. Just FYI, this is comparable to the V1 but without the arrows. Basically, its a bargain compared to the $400 price tag for the V1. If you are looking to pick one up in the near future, I suggest getting the passport 8500 x50 or if you really want to spend the extra $$ go big and get the V1. All the other radars are just mock-ups of these two, range wise both are similar and fairly accurate. Search on google, best radar dectors, Guarantee you these two will pop up

There are some higher-end Escorts but if you are going to spend that much, might as well pick up a laser jammer kit which is going to cost you around 1-2k depending on which gig you decide to go with. Hope that helps..

So apparently, the one I have isnt the x50 version, but the regular 8500.. The only difference between the two is that the x50 has POP. Willing to drop the price to $190.
