Navigation/iDrive question

Is there any way to input names of businesses, etc. into the navigation without having to scroll through all possible businesses under their categories?

this is the downside of BMW's navi, can't search for shit!

I hope they put out some type of software update to correct this. it's a pain in the ass to find anything.
