JB2 Limp Mode / 2nd HPFP need experience advice

hey, im looking to hear from anyone who has already been through a fuel pump and has used the jb2.

i been using it on and off for a while now and had a fuel pump replaced like 2 and a half months ago. before that, and now after the replacement, getting sstuck in limp mode has always been an issue. Now, im also runing the BMS single cone. So i guess my question is, is it really possible for my fuel pump to be going out AGAIN? its only been 3 months. Im getting moderatly longer cranks then usual, but my limp mode warning doesnt show anymore after i turned it off and on.

i dont wana take it into the dealer cuz there going to be like oh we tried to "recreate" the problem and there were no codes we cudnt do anything. as soon as it happens bring it back to us.. -___-

Take a look historically. Those that have their HPFP go out and much more likely to have it go out again. Those on original HPFP's are going very long mileage. My non-scientific observation.

BMW does not no the problem. I'm on my second pump now with 5700 miles.

Does not matter if your tuned or not, the failure rate is higher for non tuned cars.

I had my HPFP go out within 3 mths of picking up the car, not sure on the mileage though. I installed the JB2 about 2 or 3 months after that and have not had a single issue. For my two cents, I would guess your about to get your 2nd pump replaced..

what the helll its rediculous.. well its been about a week after that event n still hasnt come back yet. im getting constantly longer cranks then usual now versus the once in a while before. theyre not super long but i notice a diff. also i feel very anoying shakings, rattlings and vibrations. sometimes the car gets reallllllllllly slow once it gets heated up to about 250f.

in any case if it does il just do this all over again !
