Camera Mounts
Just wondering what kind of camera mounts everyone is using while driving at the track. Some of them are ridiculously priced and I might go out and custom fab one of my own. Just wondering if there's a better alternative rather than wedging it in a headrest.

CruiseCam
CruiseCam will start selling the mounts again soon. They just secured financing to produce them.

I was going to get a cruiseCam, but I couldn't find one. I ended up making one myself, and I am very happy with it. It took me about 3 trips to the hardware store to get all the right bolts/nuts/washers to work with the mini tripod head that I picked up at Target.
I followed a random guide online, and I paid about $20-25 in parts. I did have a drill press at home, which made it easy to drill the holes in the square tubing. Jim |

BTW, BMWCCA doesn't allow suction cup camera mounts. Only matters if you plan on doing their events.
I have seen some home made cruise cam style mounts that are very good. |

We should get together and design, build, and market one.

I was sorta considering it actually... on a relatively small scale anyway.
