When people think about stripping down the car, they usualy ask this question, but their logic is a little off in this case. The electrical windows are lighter, and take much less space than the manual ones. Something that Audi did in their RS4 models also, so if you look at the fact that in electric windows there is only a switch, some wires and a motor pushing or pulling the window mechanism, compared to the whole system in the manual one, it's easy to see why are they doing this.

No A/C or radio, but are they rear parking sensors in that bumper?

Lets hope that the Z2 will be even better.
They should do a version of the Cayman like this. Too bad they cheaped out and didn't put the BBS FI wheels on it. No Titanium exhaust or lightweight battery either. A little more effort and they could have knocked off 100kg.

Interesting! But why do that to a Boxster? Hasn't it always been thought of as the "baby Porsche" for people who want to have a Porsche experience but don't want to sacrifice a lot of luxuries?

It looks promising. Probably way better build quality than (but still quite portly compared to) a Lotus Elise. Here's another link: http://jalopnik.com/5397675/porsche-...he-you-can-buy
