Horrible dealer name badge on trunk...

My local BMW dealer paints a horrific logo on the trunk opposite the model badge indication. It's huge and awful.

Can you request that a dealer NOT put their logo on your car? Is it uncommon to do so? The darned thing is massive... it's bigger than the model indication.

Did you say paint it on? Or is it a sticker?
You should have it removed by the dealer. The dealer should have discussed it whit you, wheter to put it on or not?

They do this after the car comes from the VPC, during the dealer prep.

I told my CA not to put any stickers or dealer badging on the car. He made sure they didn't. Thumbs up to Peter Brizan at Passport BMW in Maryland.

I also called and asked to have the dealer sticker/badge removed or to not be put on. I rolled off the lot without the dealer license plate cover as well. I had them put my smoked plate cover on during the walk around.

It's not that uncommon for people to ask us to remove our small emblem ( it's about a 4" circle in silver with black trim and it's stuck on with adhesive so it's easy for our guys to remove it and some people don't want the plate frames either. It's not a big deal to not have it on there if someone doesn't want it.You can also debadge any of the numbers, because they stick on as well.......

Thanks for the information, guys. This makes me feel better. I need to get a picture to show you just how big that sucker is - I've never seen anything like it before.

I requested no drilling or mounting of front plate... I have reminded my CA twice and he said that he has already made note for the prep guy

Depends on the dealer, it's either part of the pdi ( dealer prep ) or when the car gets detailed
