tuning gauge question

hey guys i just got a tuning gauge and would like to know something i would not mind driving on map 3 or even map 0 but if an m3 pulls up beside me i would like to up it to map 7 is that a bad idea does it need adaptation time or will it be fine?

John on 1.4 adaption is a lot longer. I think the reasoning is that it will eliminate the KRs that can sometimes associate large map jumps. There is a quick answer and that is water/methanol. It is an easy fix.

Sure run map 7, by the time you put in 4th on wot you will feel a huge power drop because of heatsoak. Check your your IAT with the gauge. Everytime you pass 110F the jb3 will start lowering boost really fast

No its not dangerous since the jb3 will lower boost but get an upgraded Fmic . Your car will thank you and you will have very constant power all the time.

You can switch on the fly if you can. It will take a few hard runs to fully adapt still.
