Here is a picture I just took with my shitty camera outside.

If you want more pictures. The whole left column of pictures in this link is my car, http://www.afefilters.com/54-11012pr.htm They used my car for the developement. Once the kit was finale. They gave me a brand new finale release kit. This is the first aFe intake kit for the E90 in world! Guarenteed!

they're different people though....

you're talking about that "wideopenthrottle" guy right?

he's the only one with the AFE that has that problem i think....and i think it's his MAF sensor's problem...because all his symptoms should be the cause of the MAF sensor. the sensor might be damaged during the shipment i beleive?

yea, i saw that.....he said if i hit up 330what, i would see that his intake is screwed up.......but when i look up his posts, all i see is how much he liked it, all of his reviews were positive...

edit: btw, if u followed that thread, the cause of the failure IS from the MAF sensor...i was right....but the MAF sensor screwed up becuase of excessive oil, so every other intake with cone shaped design would have the same reaction....
