Will an 18 x 8.5 et15 rear fit on the e90?

I'm found a set of winter rims and tires off an m coupe with FRONT: 18x8.5 ET38 REAR: 18x8.5 ET15

I know generally for 19's, lowest offset is 20, but for 18x8.5, will the et15 offset work?

Thanks in advance.

that should be fine on your car......just make sure you don't put the rear wheels on the front!

With how wide tires 225/40? If so I think it will fit.

What's the difference?
Someone local is selling a set of 18" winters with these specs, and I wanted to upgrade my 17" winters to 18"s so I'm considering this set. Will it not fit?

OEM size is 225/40 for 18" wheels. 225/45 has a taller sidewall. The number in bold is the height of the sidewall in percentage of the width of the tire.

Ohh ok. My current ones are 225/40 I think. So will the 225/45r18 et15 fit my rear without rubbing?

Probably, but I can't say for sure.

I think ET15 for the rear is to extreme, it doesn't look right IMHO.

Why, remember we're talking about a 8.5" wheel with 225 tires, not some 19x9.5 wheel with 265 tires.

It'll fit.
Wheel diameter has nothing to do with offset though.
