BMW Part 51167148839 same as retrofit Part # 51950421325 (Rearview mirror EC / LED / GTO / Compass) in BRAND NEW CONDITION. ASKING $250 or BEST OFFER. It will fit on all BMW Sedans, SUVs and Coupes from 2000 to present. If the car didnt come equipped w/ homelink (no premium package), will it work with this mirror as pnp?

If you have the mirror with the manual dimming knob (the red plastic base) then you will need a retrofit harness from BMW. the base setup is just lacking a few wires between the mirror and the front overhead console.

TY. Do you know the harness p/n? I think this is going to be a Christmas gift for my Mom - she just picked up a new E92 335 w/o the premium and the lack of an autodim mirror really bothered me when I drove it...

Physically, it is a small square plastic package with several wires and connectors as well as 2 zip ties. The three DIYs on this site definitely help a lot. Took me about 1 hour to install (first time around didn't realize the wires had a second pressure point to be fully seated. Fiddle around with the connectors in the package and compare them to your current setup, understand how and where the wires will go. Good luck! edit: forgot to add its about $20 from BMW, probably a bit more. |
