I did mine when they delivered the car. Should have waited but when a sh*tstorm hits our side of the country, you need to be ready.

I'm sporting some Goodyear Ultra Grip RFTs on my 284's.

I am guessing you got those from Tirerack? Did you get 16s or 17s? Let me know how the install goes. I am seriously considering getting the Rials from Tirerack.

Yup we have a local guy who orders volume from Tire Rack and you pay essentially the same price as if you ordered. I have the 16s as the 17s were sold out at the time of my order (Damn 335 owners )

Damn... now I have actually looked at the jack points under the car and the posting with regards to the "Aluminum Jack Adapter" makes SOOOO MUCH more sense. What do you guys do??

I have 2 hockey pucks and am thinking of rigging something.

Ideas?

I bought a Michelin floor jack from CDN Tire a few years ago when it was on sale and it has a nice rubber pad at the lift point.

In any event, the OEM Sport tires are useless in this weather. USELESS. They're summer rubber of course, so I shouldn't b!tch, but I will anyways.

Get yourself some decent winters peeps. I could not stop with the Potenzas at all.

So, I have an xi with Dunlop M3 winters. Pretty good combo if you ask me. Well last year, I actually got myself into some pretty white-knuckling slides with the car. Just going too fast. Pick up is nuts on the xi with snows, but stopping - man you stop like any other car out there.

So this first day of snow I boot it onto a side street. Come up to the stop sign and jam on the brakes. Ooooops. Slide well past the stop sign and turn onto another side street fishtailing. Thank goodness no cars.

Then just two minutes later, I come to another stop sign, leading to a busy main street. Apparently, I just forgot about my recent brain-freeze incident and stop too late. Uh oooh... going into the main street... luckily no cars coming and I turn left onto the street and continue.

And the cherry on top - going around the round-a-bout at the Jack Astors' plaza at Hwy 7 and 404 and clip the curb as my tail slides.

ALL OF THIS BECAUSE I AM DRIVING LIKE A MORON.

Respect the snow ladies, respect the snow.
SO ALLOW ME TO REMIND YOU IN 2009!!!! YOU WILL THANK ME LATER!

Put mine on last Tuesday for Whistler last weekend. Glad I did for Whistler but I doubt Vancouver will get any snow anytime soon, but when we do we probably won't have much notice lol.
