What floor mats do you recommend?
I have a 2010 E90 335i on the way. I know that they do not come with floor mats...another way for BMW to make some money along with all the other "options".
Can any of you recommend some good third party floor mats and why? A link to where you got them and pics would be great as well. Last edited by Bimmer 808; 11-19-2009 at 03:45 AM.. Reason: add sig |

I think I must be the only one that hates all weather rubber mats for every day use. To me, they take away any luxury feel and make it feel like I am driving in an SUV.
The very first time youu step inside with wet or dirty feet, you have a mark that's going to be there until you wash it off, and those deep grooves trap everything. With carpet ones, you just take it out, shake it off a little and put it back good as new. I just use some carpet cleaner if they get salt stained, and they look perfect again. And the rug under them is in perfect shape too, so I guess they are doing their job well.

I have carpeted mats in my car. I have a set of all weather in the trunk on standby. If it's gonna rain, or starts raining, I just throw the all weathers over the carpeted ones. ![]() |

Bimmer 808, dealers usually toss in the (carpet) floor mats for free if you ask for them on the day of hand-over. My saleman gave me a set of all-weather floor mats plus a rubber trunk liner w/o a fuss. I think BMW all weather floormats and liners are even supplied by Weathertech. I saw the Weathertech label on the underside of the trunk liner, though it doesn't have as high lips as that which the Weathertech sells under its own brand. The texture of the material is almost identical to another Weathertech trunk liner I had purchased for my old car.

i'll ask the dealer.
problem is, i'm only taking delivery of the car at the dealership and i didn't order it through them. they might not be that accommodating.

I have all weather BMW mats, and they're ok. They don't seem to contour perfectly to the car and the holes are in wrong places. I have to constantly pull the mats back because sometimes my clutch gets caught. However, in the rain, mud, snow, etc they are a must.
