Is My JB3 working?

Hey guys,
So i got my jb3 1.4 pin-out about 2 weeks ago. When i first tried it out, i definitely felt the power change on map 3. For the last week though, i dont feel the power i did then. I actually put it onto stage 5 with 93 octane but still didnt feel that much difference. Am i changing maps wrong? Is there something I did wrong or am i just used to the car now and it just doesnt seem that fast...

More specifically the power im looking for is the pull starting at about 3-4k rpm with my foot all the way down. Let me know what you guys think..

You likely got used to it. try setting it back to Map 0 or stock and driving it then. You should notice a big difference. Also are you getting long cranks at all? i know when mine started that the power felt off until the HPFP was replaced.

If you are worried, the first thing I would do is set it to map0

Put key in ignition, and hold the gas down for 4-5 seconds and then start the car. This will put the JB3 in map0.

Go drive around a little (few miles) and then stop and turn of the car, hold the gas for 4-5 seconds and then put it into map 3 (press gas pedal 3 times) and start the car.

Go for a drive. You should notice a big change If not send me a PM or email and we can see if anything else is wrong.

Hope that helped.

Mike
