335D Pricing

Just ordered a 2010 335D for $1000 under MSRP (Nav, Sprots Package and Bluetooth).

Car is due in late Jan/early Feb.

Could I have gotten a better price?

In August in Atlanta, I got invoice then substract $4500 for Eco Credit and add $1300 for dealer profit. It is a 2010 335d. I will be picking it up Monday at the Performance Delivery Center in SC.

Guess that answers the OP's question.

eco credit isint relevant when youre negotiating with the dealer. It comes as a rebate from BMWNA. So invoice + 1300 is pretty good regardless.

Your discount to MSRP on a 10 made me think twice about what I (almost) did on Saturday.
I'm looking at a 09 demo with only 1000 miles. I was thinking $1500 above invoice, but how much should I be discounting for the 'demo' use. It's only been in service for 2 months.
Thoughts??

I would offer 2k below invoice. Unfortunately you can't get the Euro delivery bargain that those of us in the USA can get, which would be lower still on a brand new 2010.

Got mine for invoice +$500, and then -$4500 eco credit. Listed for $46K and I paid $37K for the car. Build in 49th week.

I'm gonna make the negotiations really easy, use Costco's price, and then take the eco credit.

Technically, I never signed a damn thing when I ordered my car (nor did I provide a deposit check), so I'm not obligated to anything, so they can't hold me to any #'s. We'll see how things go when the car is ready next week.

options??? This thread is making me reconsider purchasing a used 335xi. I'm looking for a rig the better 1/2 can drive when it's too nasty for the M with Blizzaks and also for me 3 days a week 120 miles round trip. I've always felt very comfortable with the XI (had a 2007 328xi prior to the M), especially with the nasty rain and ice we see here so frequently. But, why spend the same cash for a used 335xi when I could go with a new "d" and great tires???????

Stock list is $43,900, plus + $825 for destination (assuming no ED). That puts us at $44,725. There's no single option that sells for $1275, but if you add the ipod and USB adapter plus the Logic7 upgrade, you get $46,000.

Invoice is $40,390 for the car, and invoice for those respective options are $365 and $795, bringing the total to $41,550. $500 over that brings us to $42,050. Take $4500 off that, and you get $37,550.

Ron

I have a 335D on order from Effe at SD BMW due in Feb

Any problems getting $1K over invoice in the negotiations?

Did you buy or lease the 335D?

Did he throw anything extra in?

Thanks

Looking to get a 335d

I'm looking to get a 335d, Premium Package, Sport Package with Paddle shifters, Navigation system, iPod and USB, Anti-theft. I'm trying to get the best price possible but am not sure what amount I should try to get them to agree to.

The sales guy I spoke with tried to tell me that it is only sold at MSRP because they are in high demand, but I had gone in and didn't talk with the Costco rep yet. I heard American Express has some good pricing too, has anyone gone through either route? Pros/Cons?

Thanks in advance, I can't wait to get behind the wheel everyday!

^ I've heard the same thing from local dealers, they don't want to budge much on the 335D because they are low in supply/high demand.

$1000 over invoice BMW Beverly Hills. BMW New Century was willing to do this but they didn't have the car I wanted in stock.

Cough, BS, Cough

The dealer was only half lying, the diesel cars are in low supply. And the demand for them is similarly low.

Looking at CPO 2009 335d with 1544 miles. cold weather package, premium package, sport package, paddle shifters, comfort access, rear sunshades, park distance control, xenon headlights, ipod/usb adapter, navigation system, HD radio, satellite radio, Logic7 sound system, Bluetooth, metallic paint.

Honestly with all these options. I don't know what is a reasonable price for it. Car will also have to shipped to me from Cali.

They are asking $47,520. excludes TTL + shipping

Couldn't do a 2009 CPO on costco, but

2010 Costco Price Invoice is 51,880 - $3500 current eco credit = $48380

But the car is a 2009 CPO with 1500 miles fleet/corp vehicle

any recommendations.
