Should be there by wed I hope as long as the USPS does not take an early vacation.lol Let me know when you get it and put it in. i dont care if it is thanksgiving or not when you do. I like to make sure my customers are happy and get their questions answered as soon as possible. run it in on map 3 first for a couple of days then switch to map 5 once you know everything is all good. You have the BT so you can check for any codes here and there.

Congratulations on your purchase. I just mounted mine today and what a difference. I also purchased it from Brad. Great guy and customer service. It only took 2 days to arrives. I'm a little desperate and I switched it to map 5 after a short drive on map 3 and you can really feel the difference from sstt, but by reading the above recommendations I should leave map 3 to adapt first.
Also what is the highest map I can run with lag fix? 5 or 7. Or I don't need lag fix map because I'm auto? Only mod DCI and 93 oct. Everything else stock. Thanks |

I'd say stay @ map 5, unless you add a bit of race gas

It took about an hour because I was a little afraid. So I was watching the video and following the PDF instructions at the same time and was really taking my time. After I finished I realized that next time It should take only maybe 15-20 minutes. Also I dropped a screwdriver to the ECU compartment so I lost like 10 minutes there trying to get it. No check engine light or code so far. I bought the BT cable and JB3 for peace of mind. I come from and SSTT and without the JB3 fully adapted I can feel the diference right away. To my surprise, last night I connected the BT cable to give it a try with my SSTT still on the car and it throwed an engine manipulation code. After installing and test drive the JB3 I scan the car with the BT cable and no codes where present. So a more powerful tune with no codes. For me that is excellent

Thanks all!!!
I really hope the unit arrives on Wednesday so I can drive all day and get the thing to adapt properly. I actually didn't think many people would be interested. I will definitely update you guys with some info about how the install went and a brief write up. I hope all goes well. I hope this is all that it's worked up to be! BTW- I just bought this 07 335i ONE week ago!!! WOOHOOO lol ---Coming from a turboed RSX-S(Still got it and love it 330whp and 250 wtq). |

My suggestion for you, the first time don't do it in a hurry. Take your time and follow the PDF instructions and the video. The SSTT like the JB+ was a 30 second job, for JB3 you need to be patient, but once you know what you are doing it should take less time. Enjoy it

But I've heard the Injen DCI is a bit louder than regular DCI.

a little off topic BUT
if I buy a JB3 1.4 and it includes free upgrades.. does that mean 2.0 when it is released?? or it it physically different?
