It's not just about horsepower, but how powerful your horses are.

Dont bother get a 335i if ur going to spend the money on top of that .... there are so many complications that makes it not worth it but if money isnt an issue GO FOR IT

HPF kits are pretty dang expensive..the stage 3 e46 m3 kit cost around 35,000$. I would imagine it would be in that ball park to turbo charge your 330i. Not worth it imo.

its not that hard to custom turbo...
you just need someone to rip out your ECU or just switch it off, and get a standalone ECU reprogrammed. I have been talking to a few tuning shops in my local area and its not much different from turboing a S2K or something like that. as long as its a standalone ECU ment for the turbo set up its fine. A engine is a engine without a ECU... |

IMO I'd stay away from aftermarket supercharger kits.
A number of years ago I supercharged my stock 190hp '98 Maxima with a Vortech kit boosting it to about 230hp. Although it was fun to drive around it put me on a steep mechanical learning curve because of so many belt skipping/slipping and alignment problems. If I'd had the chance to do it again, I'd save my money and buy a stock car with the power already built in. |

Forget the turbo, might as well go all out and swap in an LS2 from a GTO That would give you a nice little boost.....
