I have too many products to mention .......... SO, I'll tell you what I tend to use the most of both OTC & online stuff.

Carwash soap - Meguiars Gold Class (great lather & a decent shine)

Wheel cleaner - depends on the style of the wheels (dilluted Simple Green works well for OTC) otherwise, P21 gel from Detailed Image.

Wax - Detailed Image has the 50/50 Concourse wax on sale with the "24 hour sale of the day". Harley-Davidson dealerships also sell the P21S carnauba wax for a better price. Different name, but the exact same product.

Aluminum polish - Meguiars Mag Aluminum polish. I think that's the right name ....... if it smells like cinnamon then you've found it.

Tire dressing - My favorite is Chemical Guys Silk Shine dressing. Awesome look without looking greasey wet.

Quick detailer - FK1 or Optimum Gloss Enhancer. Another favorite of mine (actually THE favorite) is Blackfire Deep Gloss. DO NOT use this over a wax as it will streak ......... use the others mentioned over a wax for proper application.

Be careful with the products you choose if topping the paint with a wax. Many of the "polymer" (if not all) will not bond to a wax surface, but WILL bond to a surface topped with a sealant.

Be very careful using simple green. While it is a great product it will stain aluminum if not washed off immediately.

I did the Zaino thing to my car -- 3 applications of the complete system -- during July and August 2009. I have not washed my car since, during which time it's been to Birmingham, Knoxville, Savannah, Atlanta, Rehoboth, Fire Island, and The Cape. Now you know why it hasn't been washed -- when would I have had time? It looks great, considering...sure it's "dirty" but it's still clean enough that I can do my routine running around with it and not be anywhere even close to embarrassed. The Zaino stuff seems to have something in it that deters gross dirt from sticking to the car.

Simple Green works "IF" you dilute it properly and will not harm or stain metals. The bottle says right on the highly concentrated. If your read the back it gives you the proper dilution ratio.
