Going from '07 335 to '10 335 - Procede update?
I've been away from the forums for a while, so please excuse my ignorance, as I'm very out of date on the new versions of Procede and BMW engine software, etc.
I have a 2007 335i that I equipped with Procede V1 and then upgraded to V2. My lease is about to expire and I am considering getting a 2010 335i. I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with. I've searched the forum, but it's been so long and there's so much stuff that I can't find the time to piece it all together, so please be patient. - Is it safe to assume that my Procede V2 will not work in a new 335? - Is there a market for "old" Procedes, or a trade-in option for a new one? - What is the latest version of the Procede and how much does it cost? - Is the new Procede the same as V2 as far as installation is concerned? Any other insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Your PROcede V2 system is now obsolete and worth around $25. Your options are as follows:
A) Buy a used V3 system which is still obsolete but compatible with 2010 for $150-200 in the used section here. B) Upgrade to a new V3 Rev2 system from Vishnu for $695 if you bought V2 new. C) Consider another tune like GIAC, JB3, CPE, ESS, and the like. |
