Burning Plastic Smell with new GP Thunder Bulbs

Changed out my angel eye and fog light bulbs with a set of GP Thunder 8500k. This is my second set.

Well when I get out of the car after driving with the fog lights on, I can smell a distinct burning smell. So I did a test when the fog lights on and then with the fogs lights off. Only can smell it when I have driven with the fogs lights on.

Anyone experience this? The bulbs are H8 35 watts
