Exclamation Bmw e92 exhaust questions

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this forum and... i haven't got my e92coupe yet... but I have some questions..& i hope they can be answerred here....
I've seen a lot of pictures of the M version of this car, and i really love the exhaust (& the sound ). Now, my question is: can it be installed on a 320i, how much will this cost & what about the bumper? There's only one hole in the bumper... Will i need a new bumper, or can it just be cut out...

I hope you guys will answer soon & i'll update as soon i have my new car

put the m3 exhaust on a 320? lol i highly doubt it. if for some reason im wrong and it fits..you would need to get a new bumper and/or cut the stock one (which would look bad) because its a quad exhaust..is on both sides unlike the 320 which is just on the left.

hope this helps

Too much work. You will need a new bumper, fender work to fit the new bumper, the exhaust, new heat shields, underbody work, moving the carbon canister, new exhaust, new exhaust hangers, and new trunk tray to start you off.

By the way, I hope you realize it is not just the exhaust that produces that engine note you have heard.

Aaah okay! Well, realy really really thank you guys for the answer! So... I can just put a chrome tip on the exhaust. I've searched the forum and... i don't know sure but, a chrome tip on the exhaust doesn't improves the sound? What can I do to improve the sound (to get a low sound). I don't wanna transform the whole car, but i wanna know what the options are

You can do a resonator delete.

I know for the E92 328, BMW makes a performance exhaust that does exactly what you are looking for. I would see if they make it for your model car, and go with it.

A resonator is an air chamber in the exhaust. When removed, it is noticeably louder.

Check this out:

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=293503

A bloke in Hong Kong converted his 323i E93 into an M3 lookalike (with the quad exhausts as well)... but it would probably cost a mint to get this done (probably cheaper to buy a 335 or an M3!!)

Good luck with your conversion!!
