Curious what everyone thinks: I am coming up on the end of my lease in March and i want out early. I have a couple options. I can either list my car through Swapalease and they would try to find someone who will be interested in Buying it (as the lease cannot be transfered within 6 month window). I believe the payments would around $630/month. Or couldn't I just sell it to someone here for the residual amount (roughly $31,000) and somehow pay BMW Finance the check directly? Would that work? Curious about everyone's thoughts....

yeah buying out at 31k is an option... but it has to be local... and the new owner must be able to trust you... and... the other thing is that the buyout can be nego'd
