how to find out what DME ECU verison i have? and boost issue

Can i scan with my BT tool to find my DME version?

the reason i want to to know is because a while back my car was brought to the dealer for routine work and the car now is deff much faster with no tune. The getup is great and the car pulls.

i have jb3. 1.4 (also same on 1.3) with Rix vent gauge

In map 1 that bypasses the tune i can hit 12-13 psi, I have re calibrated the gauge multiple times and still the same boost results. Before i brought the car to dealer i would consistently read 8/8.5 psi in map 1 which was normal. I also now hear the turbos much more.

now Map 7 my Psi results are results are roughly simmilar but at differrent power bands and longer pulls to reach the 12-14 psi then 1 and seems more laggy off the line.

i really have no idea whats going on with Map1.

The DME version yes, software no. Your dealer will tell you witch integration/software level are you, by just scanning your key. No idea what's going on with your JB, I'd take it out completely and measure boost then.

Map 1 is the low boost map. You mean map 0 is 12-13psi?

Map 1 is the "low boost" map not the "bypass"... bypass is map 0!!

Also, you might be hearing louder turbos/exhaust due to the software update that others have reported.

You probably don't have the special JB3 firmware loaded that enables the Rix map switching? If not you're on default/map 3 no matter what you select on the gauge. Try the gas pedal switching.
