OEM Aero Lip
Hey Guys...I just installed my OEM Aero lip on my 2010 E92. It went on pretty easily, but a buddy of mine did it in about 40 degree weather. I think that might have made it a little tougher than normal.
It's on there and it's probably about 1mm or less short on one side by the wheel well. It's honestly barely even noticeable, but it seems slightly short on the one side. I also had a little trouble with the tape sticking, but a hair dryer seemed to help that. 2 things: Will the lip "settle" at all and perhaps expand a little when it gets warmer? It feels very secure, but the middle part of the lip on the bottom pops a little because the tape didn't completely stick. Will that ever stick if it gets a little warmer? I used Windex SPARINGLY. Overall, great mod for around $500 painted and installed! |

That's not right, it should sit flush with the side. Did you try test fitting it without the tape? Did you bolt it from underneath as well? Also are there any gaps in the center section where it wraps around the center grill?

I bolted it underneath. Is that something that could adjust the alignment a little, ie how tightly I make the bolts? There are no gaps around the center grill. That looks perfect. |
