Upgraded to V3 Stage 3 but...

After the installation of the Forge Intercooler on my car (dropped IATs by 30%) I loaded the stage 3 maps to my Procede and upgraded my Forge DVs from green to yellow springs.

Despite my expectations the boost levels remained the same (14.2-14.5psi).
Whats going on??

(used the default stage 3 settings)

I'm fully eligible for stage 3... except the removal of rear cats.
Is it possible that rear cats holds back boost?

I guess your settings are default 80%, raise them to 85-88% and you will be fine.
Larger IC normally reduces the Boost with 1-1,5 psi

My setup is:
DCI
vk catless downpipe
Intercooler
forge DV
run 93 octane

Spoke to shiv he says stage 3, with intercooler should be ran fully catless, but to try it out and datalog it.
i did so and i got a huge knock at 6000 rpm where the check engine light came on, so im stuck with stage 2 till i remove the secondary cats.
but im able to run
user toque at 85%
and ign corr at 60%
car holds 15-15.5psi

Haven't seen a drop higher than 0.3-0,5psi

Raising boost manualy makes no sense...i could do that by keeping stage 2 map and just raising up the settings. I assume that Stage 3 would do that automaticaly.

I'm having the same setup as yourself but running a bit better fuel quality BP 100 Octane (equivalent to 95-96 US octane)
I also noticed two consecutive knocks while in 5th gear full throttle. Even though rest gears revving up "clear".
This has been reproduced in other pulls as well...i cant understand why 5th gear is so prone to knock.

I know...i just wanted to give it a try (testing). The fact that the car is not raising boost is questioning me as i wouldn like to proceed with cat removal (or exchange to hi-flow) and still not be able to raise boost.

As mentioned above , i wonder if the existance or rear cats is a negative factor for boost buildup or its something else.

I run stage 3 with the same setup as you have (STD exhaust) it works fine for me and my car is just as fast as Big toms how runs completely catless, and my settings are ut 85% and timing 50% max boost 15-16 psi.

Lower it to stage 2, if you have secondary cats. Big difference and datalog It to tweak it out.
