BMW E91 Tailgate

Just wanted to know from all the E91 owners. When you tailgate is open, does the rear wiper work & are you able to open the rear window, i.e the one in the tailgate. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks....

And, no the wiper does not work with the tailgate open.

Interestingly, if you open the back window, you can move the wiper manually, then close the window - makes it much easier to clean behind the wiper.

Just make sure you put it back down in the parked position, to engage the drive. Don't want mangled parts.
