Insight on BMW's next finance offers?

Hey folks.

Maybe you've seen me posting all over the site, trying to do my research and in generally I just love talking about cars. So thanks for taking a read.

I was thinking of getting an 07 or 08 sedan shortly. Right now though, the only GOOD offers are on 07's, though most of those I'll only have 1 year left of the original warranty. Does anyone have any insight or knowledge of the next financial offers they may have in the coming months? I'd hate to pass on an 08 for BMW to then offer .9 or 1.9 in February.

Not sure if this information is ever leaked out early...

I followed their CPO finance offers since October and BMW has extended the 0.9% financing and first two payments 3 times since then. Not sure if/when they will include 08's but the promo seems like it will be around for awhile.

I was able to get a pretty good deal on my CPO'd 2007 E92 335i (32k miles) with auto, premium, sport, and navigation for $29k. If you can find one with the options you want and relatively low mileage I'd say go for it instead of waiting for an '08 as there isn't much difference in terms of major changes.

Remember, CPO means the warranty is extended to 6 years/100,000 miles.

True but the not the free maintenance portion. Does bmw hassle you for warranty repairs if they havent been performing the maintenance once the 4/50000 is over?

That's my concern. I'm not worried about the free maintenance per say, but really concerned with stuff breaking that's not mechanical related. I know that if the Navi breaks or goes out within 4 years, it'll be covered under the original warranty. However, if it goes out after that during the CPO, CPO warranty says it won't cover those such items.

Soooo that's my debate. I want the 07 financing on an 08. Of course, everyone does too...

I know I WAS TOLD by my service manager of where I bought my car, that the dealership is Instructed to go by the list of Covered and Un-Covered CPO items found on the bmwusa.com site or warranty pamphlet they give you.

BUT she said if the maint. was done by ANY BMW dealer or an Authorized BMW service station, that they have MORE leeway for getting certain warranty items fixed.

I know if you search under my name here, you will find a decent amount of threads of things that were bad or wear and tear items that should have NOT been covered but were since they want to keep me happy, and also want my return business.

But when I ask about doing my own oil changes and air filters, etc she said that would not hurt me at all, but things like alternator, belts, brake fluid flushing, etc would hurt me if I did it myself.

Everyone does

But I know it's not reasonable. I'm sure there are some people on this board that probably get notified a few days, week, weeks before a promo starts. Was just curious if anyone had heard anything. Thanks again though folks. Looks like I'll start looking at 07's.
