2007 335i Sedan CPO Pricing?

*** Please excuse the double post, time sensitive ***

Hello everyone, I posted this in the pricing forum, but I may be out of town soon and I'd like as much info as possible before I make a decision.

I've been following prices for a while, but would like to get some input from people who've negotiated for a CPO. All of my past cars I've bought from a private party, including my current (E46 M3).

Here is my dilemma:

2007 335i Sedan
Certified Pre-Owned
25k miles
manual trans
sport package
heated front seats
and brushed aluminum trim

The asking price is 32,995. I won't pay that obviously, but what offer is a good starting point for this car? There seems to be a glut of automatics, but few manuals in my area.

Feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Wow, I'm considering trading in my car with similar specs (except the miles)

2007 335xi Sedan
45k miles
Manual trans
Sport package
Premium Package
Logic 7 Audio
Comfort Access
Ipod Connector
Navigation
Cold Package (heated seats)
brushed aluminum trim

They offered me $22K on a trade

Just bought a very similar 335i CPO from a dealer here... asking 32000, paid 25000... first BMW I have ever owned, and I love it.

I paid 29K at a local dealer for 25k miles, similar features to yours except mine was steptronic, there were only 2 manual trans available in the entire western US when i looked

I got:

Navi
Premium package (bmw assist/ blue tooth integration)
dakota grey leather
sparkling metallic graphite paint
rear PDC
LoJack (got them to toss it in)

no heated seats or comfort access though

South Bay BMW has a step car that has a little higher miles- 38k, but they are asking $26k. I bet you could get them down to $23-23.5k

my dealer just offered to CPO my car and sell it to me after my lease is up in 3 months for $25k at 2.9% for 60 months. That sound good to the group?
If ya think I should counter, what do ya suggest?

335i sedan
40k miles
manual
sport package

to OP - I would say offer $25,000...considering I purchased my CPO 335 for 31K with every option besides cold weather (but with heated seats) and comfort access...an '08 with less mileage as well...just my opinion though

I just finished my negotiation: told dealer what I thought wholesale prices were (I got pretty close by using forums, google, etc.)
We worked UP from there.....
  • my residual is approx 25250
  • dealer will end my lease one month early and cover my final lease payment
  • dealer will CPO my car
  • dealer will provide X3 loaner for the day while CPO is done
  • dealer will cover tags, tax, title costs
  • out the door price to me is approx 25,550
  • 2.9 percent for 60 months

This made me happy; what does this group think?

- the final lease payment the dealer is covering is $619
