Which Springs?

I am just about to buy my springs but need some advice. Should I go with H&R Sport or Super Sport? I don't want a huge drop in ride height. Would the Sport springs look good enough? The car is going to be fitted with CSL 19' reps.

Pics would be a great help if anybody has any.

Thanks

OP you are on the right track with the H&R's, do not be led astray as H&R's are probably your best spring for this car. I just installed the H&R Sports and they sit perfect, they only dropped the car enough to get rid of the wheel gap. The H&R Race springs are very aggressive and will drop it a lot further.
Also another great feature of these springs is the ride quality, I have an xi and the H&R's take bumps better than the stock springs. I will be putting my 19's back on in the spring and will run a 10mm spacer for the more aggressive look. I will have to roll my fenders a lil I think, but without the spacers I wouldnt have to roll at all. GL with your search

Hi

I recently lowered mine with the Eibachs Sportline Pro Kit, it's a nice subtle drop. The ride is also very good, excellent price for a good product, you shouldn't have any problems but just watch the drop on those 19"'s

There is a link here to some pics

Mine is running H&R Sports on M Sport spec Touring. Also ran 20mm rear spacer and 12mm front with no rubbing or rolling of arches needed. H&R Super Sports will be too aggressive and you'll get clearance issues on speed bumps, kerbs, ramps etc. Ride height and quality is perfect on Sports. Eibach or H&R is much the same cost and quality. See my garage for photos.

quality is the same but now sure about costs...

H&R sports springs.. (£250)
http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pag...roduct=3877701

Eibach sportsline... (£150)
http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pag...sub_category=1

so u can clearley see there is about a £100 difference!

if u opt for the eibach u can have them fitted with some change to spare for the price of just buying the HR springs.... u do the maths!!

The H&R's must have gone up in price recently. When I was looking a year ago they were around £180. However I paid £20 + £15 delv for mine

Handling is much more composed, less body roll, squat and dive.

Stability systems dont interfere so early and it looks great !

Thanks for the reply....i really dont know much about suspensions set ups, have you just changed springs or have you fitted a complete suspension set up to acheive this ?
I'm looking for a solution to reduce the body roll on my E90 LCI and improve high speed stability on the autobahn....not too bothered about looks although a drop that wont affect the car on speed bumps/when fully loaded would be nice. Can springs alone make that much difference?
What springs would you recommend?

Many thanks

Steve
