potential stupid question, but the DIY's i've seen for angel eyes require getting at it by taking out the fender well cover and working at it from underneath. is this the 10 minute installation you speak of? seems like it would take much longer?

Is this true for pre-lci e90's as well?

EDIT: Saw the instructions posted above. Looks like you have to at least turn the wheel and remove the wheel well covers.
