I have tried led's, they are good at night, but not bright enough during the day.
Best bet is a set of GP Thunder H8 replacement bulbs. I got mine from Imran at Evolve. They give a whiter light but are still bright. About £25 ish. |

Ill give that a try....how hard/easy are they to fit? I remember trying to change the bulb on a 1 series 06 plate BMW and thought that was a right pain.

No problem, access is ok.
There is a small flap that come off at the top of the back of the headlights. The DRL bulb is at the top. A twist and they come out easy. |

Access to replace the standard corona ring bulbs requires the wheel and arch liner to be removed. Various LED options but I have used Racing Dash LED's. The 3v version is worth avoiding and only using the newer 6v version Please the forum as many threads are available all asking and suggesting the same thing. |
