My thoughts on Philadelphia
Fuck Philadelphia. Really.
Got two tickets in the mail today. First, a red light from 11 OCTOBER that I apparently missed 3 notices on and is now threatening boot and tow plus $20 on top of the $100 ticket for late fees. This notice is dated 22 December. Guess the PPA can time travel now. Second, an intersection ticket (being in an intersection is illegal?) from 17 SEPTEMBER that I conveniently missed ANOTHER 3 notices on and is also threatening boot and tow plus $121.05 fine. I can't contest the red light because its past 30 days, perfect. I can contest the intersection on 13 MARCH of 2010. Seriously. Fuck Philadelphia. If I do infact deserve these tickets. I'll pay them. What is rediculous is the complete lack of recourse an honest person has. I am getting punished for not responding to notices I never even received. Again. Fuck Philadelphia.

I now understand why those people fear for their lives.

I don't know about the city itself but it seems to be a general consensus that Philadelphia Airport is among the top five worst airports in NA. |

Philadelphia looks like a war zone from the interstate. Burned out buildings, everything falling apart. Gross.

the Parking Authority is a bunch of pricks, I lived in the city for 4 years and never had a car, but roommates had to deal with boots, fines, and misc. b.s. from them all the time.
As far as FStop calling it a warzone, you clearly haven't been off the interstate.... Philly is a great city otherwise. And to Blake, your Florida teams have really been lighting up the NFL in recent years. Haters gonna hate |

Did not see a single one of those notices. It's funny that I recently applied for a PA license and now all this shit starts. I bet they had no where to send the tickets when I had an out of state license and plate.

Philthadelphia sucks. The people were voted ugliest in the nation, generally rude, and Philly fans are fair-weather fans and obnoxious.
My brother's apartment in Rittenhouse Square (one of the nicest neighborhoods) was robbed within a year of residence. |
