I just purchased 18" wheels (kinda wishing I'd gone 19).
I bought them on-line mounted and balanced. Rims are staggered 18x8's, and 18x9's. Front: 225x40 R18 Rear: 265x35 R18 Once I mounted these wheels, and went for a ride, the steering wheel began to shimmer at about 40+ mph. I thought they weren't properly balanced. So, yesterday I went to a local shop, and they said the 2 rear tires are out of round. (They're pretty sure ![]() After raising a big fuss with the company I purchased these from they agreed to credit me for all 4 tires, and I'm thinking of going with a different size, and manufacturer. Front: 235x40 R18 Rear: 275x35 R18 They will be just a bit taller and wider than the tires I'm sending back. Incase your wondering, the Falken tires are faulty, and I'm going to get Nitto's instead. |
