Aston Martin One-77 hits 220mph

Aston Martin is accelerating development on the upcoming One-77 supercar. During top secret high-speed testing in the south of France the car comfortably achieved a top speed of 220.007mph (354.86 km/h) under dry but windy conditions. More tests will be conducted in the new year, including dynamic testing.

The One-77 is powered by a 7.3-litre V12 engine and will be Aston's most powerful and of course expensive road car ever.

Any guesses as to how quick it could possibly go?

i like the dbs more and the 7.3 V12 on the engine cover looks like crap

The looks remind me of a cross between the SLR and SL Black Series....but in a VERY good way!

This car looks fantastic.

I'm thinking 230mph top speed when they're finished.

but the stock rim does not belong to this car IMO. i mean wtf are they thinking putting ugly rim on a car like this.
