Cost of washing the car - in and out

How much do you pay to have your car washed?

Ppl who wash their cars by themselves, can skip this question...LOL!!

I personally pay 10 to 15 Euro (tip included) to wash my E90, interior and exterior. Result is OK.

Place near me does half price for men on mondays, so its 5 or 6 bucks for a wash and a vacuum/dusting of the inside.

They do a pretty good job.

We get ripped off in Houston. Most car washes are $20+

8 times out of 10 non-satisfactory. Mainly just a half-assed inside job.

$18 bucks here in Mesa AZ at the local hand-wash joint. I only use them if I can't get to it myself.

The only time I will allow anyone else to wash my car is at my work, where they do a REAL hand wash, as opposed to running it through a machine and hand-drying.

They charge me $20 for a wash, carpet shampoo, and some sort of quick spray on glaze wax. Not too bad. For another $15, you get leather treatment and hand clay and wax.

I spend about 1-200 every six months for a full detail and wash it my self regularly but was surprised to find 5.99 for a hand wash around the corner from work.

In the summer months I try to do it myself, but when I take it for a wash it is $10.99 (Cdn$) for a touchless wash at the gas station (outside only, I clean the inside myself).

Never take your car through a machine wash, it's about the worst thing you can do.....those brushes really beat on your paint. I know winter's tough for some of you all, but you're better off usually just keeping it dirty. Make sure you wash the salt off every now and then.

A good handwash will run you $35+.

Most full service car washes are at least $15, then up to $25+. We're not talking the $5 car wash at the gas station.

I remember when I had just picked up my JB 09 335 last December. It needed it's first wash and I took through a machine wash that I've used for years. It's about as nice as they come. (I see R8's GTR's Porsche's, MB, etc....) and when I looked at it later in the sun It had some pretty nasty swirls, even some marring. It looked like buffer trails, though the car had never been buffed.

Never again, especially on a black car. You can get away with it if you have AW or Tiag, but I'd still prefer to do it myself or pay for a good hand wash.

Just got mine done 1 hour ago. Queens, NYC.

Paid for 10 dollars, includes exterior wash and undercarriage wash.

8 dollars for regular wash from 7am-7pm; anytime after is 5 bucks!

i prefer to wash myself, if in doubt, take it to 100% hand wash only or you will get swirls with time
