135 Nearby, not the color I want.

There is a dealership nearby that has a loaded 135 for a decent price, but its titanium silver and i wanted black. I also wanted a manual but its an auto, i will pass for the auto but the color is hard to get used to.

Should i just grab it and have fun? I dont know if i will see a deal like this again, its pretty good. I am just not a fan of silver, but this car is clean with low miles!

What should i do?

Besides Kroy, has anyone else encounted this situation.

Where you just want to buy a car but the color isnt exactly what you were looking for?

Are you just trying to increase your post count to 16,000?

I say keep looking. If color is a big issue, then you might regret real fast.

They mean what is the deal on the 135i? If it's a substantial amount savings over anything you'd get a black one for, purchase it and pay a shop $2k to paint your car. If it's not THAT big of a savings, wait for a black one.

you cant just say 'oh i got a deal on this car but the color isnt the one i want' wahhh, cry more. if the savings are substantial, suck it up and get over the color. also, OT posts dont count so nice try with that.

edit: spec 1 basically said everything perfectly

Can't begin to guess how many posts you'd have if OT counted.

don't do it, step away. I was in your same position with sparkling graphite available, I had to lease right at the time and for 14 months every day I look at my car i get upset, man. This is too big a purchase to be not getting what you want. Patience is a virtue.

This is merely Fate and Karma tapping you on the shoulder and expanding your awareness that there are other cool colors out there other than black. You were meant to be in this car, you just didn't know it. Make the universe whole again and buy the car.

This!!!

I am in a similar position as you, OP. I have decided to order my new 135, and wait for it to be built exactly to my specs. It's too much money to spend not to have exactly what you want. My other option was an E82 that has been sitting on a lot for 10 weeks, 3200 miles away...fuck that!!!

I'm going to say go look in the 1Addicts pics under Titanium Silver. The nice thing with Silver is that it looks good with CF trim, tint and gun metal wheels. You can make it your own.

It's up to you. I went with TiAG even though I wasn't crazy about the color just because it was the only one on the dealer's lot with a 6mt. It depends on how long you're willing to wait vs. what you're willing to compromise on.
