Question DSC/DTC slip and aftermarket tire sizes

~ anyone have experience with how the DSC/DTC slip algorithm reacts to different tire diameters?

For example with E92 OEM;
front are 225/40-18, nominal diameter = 25.09"
rear are 255/35-18, nominal diameter = 25.03"
Front to rear difference is only 0.06"....

Aftermarket setup #1 :
front 235/35-19, dia = 25.48"
rear 275/30-19, dia = 25.50"
Front to rear difference is 0.08" more than OEM...... minimal & should be no problem.

Aftermarket setup #2

front 245/35-19, dia = 25.75"
rear 275/30-19, dia = 25.50"
Front to rear difference is now 0.19" more than OEM

Since the difference in diameters would be sensed as slip.......
Is the difference in #2 enough to make the DSC/DTC overly sensitive??

All I know is that even with 20x10s on the rear this thing will still lay rubber for as long as you want it to.:rocks:

As far as I understand it, the sensors are not programmed with specific wheel circumference values. They only react to dynamic rotation speed differences.

So you can put on any size wheel that fits, and the DTC/DSC will only react when wheels slip, i.e. when their rotation speed changes dramatically from the others.

I have 245 + 275 on my car and it is very happy with that.
