Any difference in California exhaust?

Greetings and Merry X-mas!

Just got my '08 335 in from California and was wondering if they have any special emission restrictions or anything like that I can remove and get a few more horses possibly?

I bought this car without even seeing a 335 at a dealership or driving one, was a bit worried that I wouldn't like it as much in person... but both looks and performance are better than I expected. I'm coming from a heads/cam/n2o trans am, while that was obviously faster, this bimmer is such a pleasure to drive, no regrets at all. This is a great forum, look forward to hanging around for a while.
