Idrive settings reset on its own

Hi guys,
I just got my car two days ago. Added the the radio station Presets and all the idrive settings. The next day everything reseted. Anyone have any ideas. Please help. Thanks

Accidently pressed the controller down for 25 sec? That will reset iDrive.

Nope. I didn't press Down on the control for 25 secs. =[. Hope it's not a defect..

ok. I think I figured it out.

I was using my second CA keys and I read in the manual that each CA has its own personalize settings. So when I used the other CA keys, the settings was pretty much stock because that was my first time. lol.. Better figuring it out now then looking like a fool taking it to the dealer.

haha i was about to ask if you used your second key I see you figured that out. I did the same thing the day I took delivery of my car and was really upset for awhile thinking that my brand new car had a bug.

Same thing happened to me. I hate that feature, given that there is only one driver of my car. It just means I have to go through every setting twice.

seriously... lol. It seems cool that you can personalize each keys, but I will be the only driver and now I have to do all the settings again on the second key such as the radio presets, settings in the i-drive, etc..
