IPOD

I just plugged my ipod into the USB socket in the armrest, expecting the car to pick it up, but no joy. I used the same USB cable that connects the IPOD to the PC. Am i missing something ?? Do i need a Y cable, and if so what is it & where do i get it from.

Thanks.

Before shelling out for that Y-adapter, try a different iPod cable. I have had my iPod connected to the armrest port with just the Apple iPod-to-USB cable without any issue.

I could select the music using the steering wheel buttons and the information on the iDrive screen could be selected using the iDrive wheel.
