What fico score for "Qualified Customers"?
Hey everyone.
Anyone work for BMW and know what credit score they consider to be placed into the "Qualified Customer"? The lender I currently deal with considers a 740 for to be "top tier", but just curious if anyone knows. Thanks. -Jeff |

Jeff, i dont work for BMWNA but i did go through qualifying about 4 months ago. I had a 780-790 FICO score with all three agencies, and -0- debt (never had debt) paid all my CC bills on time & in full for last 9 years...
I WAS required to put money down (certain amount) in order to "qualify" as a result of not having a "high-line" (e.g., no loan of that amount in the past)... hope that helps... its a factor of, income, score, debt, past payments (etc.)...

When i applied the finance manager said it needed to be 675 to qualify for 3.9 and holiday cash. My credit score is 725 and my wifes is only 650 but we have a good income for our ages and very little debt other than the mortgage And her new car with plenty availible credit. We were approved no problem.
