different offsets
hello everyone, new owner of a 2006 325xi. I'm hoping the experts here can help me out with a question....
a buddy of mine wants to sell me a set of brand new 17" replica mags that he picked up in a bankruptcy for cheap. However, one of the mags has a 20 offset and 74 centerboard while 3 of them have a 35 offset and 72 centerboard. i really like the mags and they're really a good deal. a) is there a way I can use the mags if i buy a spacer of some sort? b) is there any risk to the car in doing so? thanks a lot eric |

The centerbore discrepancies will be the biggest issue...don't think you'll be able to run those...BMW's requre a centerbore of 72.56 I believe..

Nah, this sounds like a bad idea.
