As usual, there have been subsequent minor revisions called "online updates."

Previous: 2.35.4 was released in Nov 2009, and some minor 2.35.4.xx.xx online updates up until 2.36.

Notes:
+CIC software affects driving, electronics, iDrive performance.
+CIC software version can be ascertained from servicer, or possibly via iDrive service menu.
+BMW has not been explicit on features/fixes for each ISTA/P version.
+iDrive Navigation has separate software versions and releases.
+iDrive Nav version is listed under Navigation->Options->Navigation Version
