Headlamp Washers Dead

All of a sudden my headlamp washers appear to be dead

They don't even raise out of the bumper and I can't here the pump going so it would appear they are totally dead.

So I know things have been a bit cold over the last few weeks however my screen washer and rear screen wash are fine.

Short of a trip to the dealer, any clues?

Im thinking that they wont pop out because they're prob frozen or the water line going to them is. A couple of times I let my washer tank run dry and when I refilled it the headlamp washers didnt work straight away it took a few times to "prime" the pump and then they worked...so I think they are pushed out of the bumper by the pressure of the water not electrically and if your water line is frozen they wont wash!...now I refill the tank once the light comes on and have a good concentration of screenwash to stop them freezing!

Well it has been far too warm over the last few days for them to still be frozen however I take your point that it could take a few goes to get water flowing again.

However in the past, you could hear the electric pump fire when the headlamp wash activated as it did it once at the same time as the windscreen and then a second time on it's own after a second or so. At the moment I am not hearing the pump fire.

Dave-Im just too busy waiting on my flappys and painting my rusty hubs to care about the wash bottle!! Seeing out the windscreen is overrated!!

I've just tried mine and when you wash them you can hear a clicking from the passenger kick plate side...so they must be electric, prob a relay or something..it seems to do it twice each time they pop out...listen for this...also get someone to wash them while your at the bumper to see if they are even attempting to pop out if not try the fuse...best of luck with the fuse diagram....!
