muffler delete vs resonator delete vs cat delete

Muffler delete seemed a bit load for me and i was wondering if anyone has dont a resonator only delete or cat only delete. i wanted to know how the sound compared with the muffler delete. louder quieter more drone ect.

Today i Removed my muffler, and personally i love the sound. It is much louder then back in the day when i only had secondary cat delete. Muffler delete is louder and does sound better then secondary cat delete, But muffler delete does have more drone. I personally dont mind drone as my sound system helps cancel some of it out.

Dont get me wrong though Secondary cat delete was very nice also it did make the car louder and alittle more performance.

But Muffler delete is much deeper...

I have AT and no cats with CP-E exhaust, and it does rasp a little in lower rpms when you hit the gas in D mode from a sudden throttle modulation like when you want to pass someone...Other than that there is no rasp exhibited in DS mode, but I just ordered some Vibrant (1792) resonators to be added to the exhaust system to see if its gets rid of it all together...I would think catless dp and secondary cat delete with OEM exhaust would show little signs of rasp IMO

YOu want to cut weight get rid of the OEM exhaust totally...That would shed some serious weight on that fat PIG Of yours!

oem mufflers are over 50 pounds i think, shaves off a lot of weigh. you might lose some traction under heavy load though, since you lost weight in the rear of the car.

The mufflers easily weigh over 50 lbs, id say the cats weigh ne where from 10-15 lbs together.

and Ruso i dont know if u can just remove the resonators, because my understanding is that the resonators are build into the mufflers?
